Introduction to Our Life!

I have decided that it would be a nice idea to have a blog for the many adventures (or lack of adventures at certain times..) of Chris and I as a married couple! That way friends and family of ours can see what we have been up to lately!

I suppose this first post will just be catching everyone up on what's changed in the 4 (Yes, FOUR!) years Chris and I have been married! We both have graduated from Arizona State University, and are both working in our respected fields. Chris, as a software developer in Scottsdale, and me as a zoo keeper at the Phoenix Zoo! We both absolutely love our jobs, and feel completely blessed that at such a young age we are both doing things we love, and ultimately have our dream jobs! Chris has been at his company for about 3 years now, and I have been at my job for about 3 months, although I've been at the zoo for almost 5 years already! Time sure does fly by!

A little over 2 years ago we bought our first house in Gilbert! We're about 5 minutes away from Chris' side of the family, and about 10 minutes away from my side of the family! It's amazing to be so close to both his parents and mine, as well as having our brothers and sisters here too! Our house is the perfect little starter home for us, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has just enough space for us two, and somehow our 5 animals (2 dogs, 2 cats and a bearded dragon!) fit in it, too. It's a great house, and we are very proud of it! I will definitely try and post pictures of it at some point!

At this point in our lives, Chris and I are focused on our careers, as well as getting into the groove of normal, married life. It's hard to believe that we have been together for over 8 years, and yet we still enjoy each other's company, and are constantly learning new things about each other! To me, that's what marriage is all about. Spending your life with the one person that makes you completely happy, no matter the circumstances. We're both incredibly blessed! Well, I'll update this blog again soon! Talk to you then! :)
